As the digital landscape continues to evolve at a rapid pace, new variations of moral, legal, and social concerns arise. In this course, we will debate issues and controversies surrounding cybertechnology, as well as discuss strategies to encourage ethical computing in organizations. Topics considered will include professional codes of conduct, privacy, security, cybercrime, intellectual property and various ethical issues involving online communities, online identities and social networks.
